What would be more funny is to just tell the death penalty supporter "Oh, I know you were guilty of stealing my cookie - I sentence you to death!" and unload a couple of magazines into their chest. And then afterwards you can say "Oh, I just remembered - I ate it myself!" and everyone can have a good laugh.
